Information Integration Support
The aim of the project is to provide a coherent interface for various data sources in order to allow the users to concentrate on needs rather than efforts to obtain the required information. Information integration will enable the user to select and simultaneously process data from various sources without the need to search for the appropriate data sources by checking each source one by one. INFOMIX is a visionary and exploratory concept. It strives to provide a theoretical basis and innovative methodology to meet the needs of new and flexible information systems. The purpose of the research is to solve problems of advanced logic-based inference, use the incomplete and incoherent data sources as well as deliver solutions that are both expandable and scalable.
